Then the carrot of understanding will be consumed by life and the sign of the times seen by all.

Thus the game is like any other game with a finite threshold of interest, enjoying its time till the sun sets on this cosmological afternoon. When the board is cleared it will be shelved, not for an eternity just until playtime comes around with a renewed interest in quantum reality. Just like dice life is a gamble, but it must be seen through and you must take part whatever the price it will take. The winning move might be tied and woven in your garment of life and thus the Gods need your help and sacrifice to see this celestial game through.
